Sadly, it is going to get much worse. Jesus told us this when he described the end times. Whether or not we are in them, I cannot say. He said, "not even the angels in heaven know when....". But I do know this, times will get worse and I mean much worse as we approach it; and during it.

Some people will no doubt scoff at the following: But incest, pedophilia, open raw sex of every conceivable nature (including beastiality) will be broadcast on prime time TV in this nation; be seen by 100's of millions of households across the world; and taught as normal in our public schools; and sadly, the US supreme court along with world courts will rule in its favor.

Also, the sacrifice of human's and withcraft, will be as normal as Ozzie and Harriet once were. Sadly, Christians as prophesied, will turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to it, as it leads us into armageddon; under the misstaken interpretation of "Judge not, lest you be judged".

Over one million soldiers will die horrible deaths on that battlefield. That final war will be the worst war EVER fought in the history of man.

If any one doubts this, you WILL see it if you live long enough. It IS coming. If you had spent the last two years in my Christian chatroom; and hear what is going on that parents are turning deaf ears and eyes to; you would be appalled.

I am right now councilling a young 16 yr old girl from NJ in an IM (private conversation) in my chartoom whose happening is too shameful and too horrible to speak of. And she is not alone. I have done it with 100's. If you parents out there only knew.

Let him who hath ears, hear these words...

There's certainly no accounting for what people take money for.. Sometimes capitolizing on anything at all can turn into the reverse. Just ask Jim Bakker...

(apon editing) Jim and Tammy at worst were a couple of charismatic people that got intoxicated by making people happy. That's Right, HAPPY. Old and young people were able to get the benefits of tithing, giving without condition, and doing so in THEIR praise of life. It went on, and on, and as the World often does, they got caught up in things, and situations the flesh is heir to.

The End Result and Overview. They, with their dumb little TV Ministry, made MILLIONS of people happy. Including a dog, that had an air conditioned doghouse like no other on the planet. The Government locked up their ministry, took away that air conditioner AND the dog, and ALL their money.

Care to guess how many people The Government made happy with their money?

An interesting insight into what you speak of is oddly a semi-hokey "medium" Jonathan Edwards in an interview:

When asked if there things he feared in the "realm of spirits", he replied "no", and "there" everything is under control of the Divine Father. We have nothing to fear from The Dead or "Ghosts".

His fear was rather of the Living, as there is no such control in Our Realm. He let's all manner of things happen. Good And Bad. The worst of things and spirits are allowed to run free among us it seems.

The more I see, the more I believe it.

I look at it the way I have tried to explain it to young people I knew that were having trouble.

What we are on, as it says in the good book, is a foreign planet, on and in which we do not belong. ( We are not of the Earth.) It's pleasures, and pitfalls look harmless. The troubles we get into thereby can be terrible beyond belief. Survival on this rock depends on our utmost effort to tame the smallest of corners of it for ourselves and/or families. The supposed harmlessness and ease is the illusion that causes all the misery.

We're just passing through....

Actually. I am a HST Fan, and have his latest books, as well as his earlier ones, and made the aquaintence of his attorney some years back.

There is a great deal of controversy on who actually is the author of the quote. It is similar to several very similar quotes about show business made much earlier.

I think Hunter was a Renaissance Man for the 80s, but I think he's gone a little over the top. Things just don't run on the same principles in place in the 60s. In some ways, much wilder, in some ways much tamer..

I do know he at least said it.

I also liked Richard Brautigan, and Brendan Behand. Both took the easy way out...
