Dan Dugmore, the longtime sideman to Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor (pedal steel, guitar, Dobro, Banjo and more) has a new CD out of Beatles covers called "The Off White Album". He has clips on his website: http://www.dandugmore.com/newcd.html
Dan has always had a unique niche in the pedal steel realm with his own folky, relaxed sound on the instrument. I believe this is his first solo record after some 30 years in the business.

dan recorded this album in his home studio at his home outside of Nashville, then had it mastered. He plays all the instruments on it. Great job. It is a etherial. |

Very vibey record. Dan gave us an advance copy last year when he was playing on Richie Furay's new record I was producing. Great end-of-the-day listen... As much as I enjoy his steel playing, his electric guitar work on Richie's record is waaay cool... |
