It seems that someone at Billboard noticed Lloyd Green's solo in Alan Jackson's latest hit single "Remember When." There still may be hope. Here is the link. http://www.billboard.com/bb/reviews/single_article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=2021042
The song is wonderful and the solo is PURE Lloyd Green.

There's a steel guitar solo between the third and fourth verses that is achingly beautiful.

This writer obviously loves steel guitar and describes Mr.Green to a "T". I have had these feelings when listening to him.Way to go LLoyd.

Hoping to hear more steel on the radio. There are a few crossover stations in the DC area that will occasionally play a country tune with the steel solo edited out. Maybe with an honorable mention by Billboard the steel can stay for the ride.
