AMA show steel spotting

The first steel I heard was when they played cuts for nominees for female artist. Shania's Forever And For Always was the steel version.

When Alan Jackson played the steeler(name?) was featured on camera at the proper time. He played a Derby.

Toby Keith's steeler(name?, played an MCI) held about 50% camera time and figured prominantly in the audio mix.

well whoever directed got it much more right than many awards shows I have seen that are allegedly "country"... they even managed to get the camera on the steel player THEN the guitar player IN THE RIGHT ORDER when the split solo came up on Toby Keith's tune...

The AMA makes a big deal of "the public choosing the winners" - sure they do, from what they have been force fed by Clear Channel and Comcast. Same Stuff, Different Day....
