Paul Seibel... what and where?

Back in 1968, when I was with Ronstadt, she introduced me one night to Paul Seibel, a NY singer/songwriter who was visiting LA. He had an album out called "Woodsmoke and Oranges," a country-flavored folk/rock album that had wonderful Weldon Myrick steel all over it.

Seibel also had a fan in Jerry Jeff Walker. Paul wrote two, IMHO, classic songs of that genre: "Louise," and "She Made Me Loose My Blues" (title ?).

I did a Google search and an AltaVista search on Paul Seibel recently and didn't come up with anything. Does anyone know what he's doing now, what he did in the past, what happened to him, etc.?

I have not heard of him for a long time but I do remember that album had some great songs on it."Man I'd like to own that pinto pony" was that song on that record?I'm pretty sure that was him.
