Let's see. Should we call them artistic? Maybe inovative. It is interesting to see what others can come up with. Not my style. Maybe when I get older with a hunchback and ring bells for my keep, one of those might just fit in.
How come we don't have such forward art in building a pedal steel? |

Pat, I tried the Burrell guitar and found it so weird feeling I couldn't get into it.
One thing the company claims is that the twisted body allows the player to hear him/herself better. This may be true, but the din in the room (due to an army of Hendrix wannabes showing off thier chops) was so loud it was impossible to hear anything.
I did see one new guitar I really liked. It's made by a German company named Vogel. Here is a link to their web site.
