Hey Rick, is that one of yours and Jason's pickups? If so, I would be really be interested to hear how the sound of this guitar compares to one of your Silver Hawaiians, Absolutely beautiful job on the transformation!

That's a set of our Cryos ... I would love to hear it ...

He tried gettin' a metal logo made ... but I think he's gettin' a decal like the original Model 59's (I'm want one for my Model G).

Thanks, Rick!

I've sent the URL of this thread to my brother with a reminder that there are only 58 days until Christmas ...

YIKES. I have a late 1930's model 59 same color as that one used to be ...far less than pristine; Little justice like it is nor in a repaint. I've been thinking about stripping / polishing or chroming it, ...but needed some distinct motivation. And there it be!

THANKS a mil.
DT~

It's a gorgeous job. It looks much like my original does today, gleaming silver. I sometimes find this model to be a bit TOO gleaming as it is often difficult to see the frets under some lighting conditions. The Silver Hawaiian has a nice sound for a 6 string.
