Uhhhhhhhhhh, yeah ... good.
To be honest, I pretty much left it for quite some time, it's not that I'm not interested, I'm just burnt out on the whole thing.. or at least I was.
These days I work in a Record Co. and I really want to move up in the place, so I'm working my butt off (kinda) and generally doing the 9-5 thing, so writing has kind of been sidestepped for a while.
As some of you may know I've been working on a book about the histroy of alterna-country and attempting to reflect the scene on the West Coast and Nashville, with a suppose a main focus on the 1964-1975 period, although I've tried to build up a picture of the industry of country music through previous decades.
I've re-written, abandoned, cursed and lost more that I should have ever attempted, it's gotten to the point where all the original interested parties are long gone, and the other book 'Desparadoes' pretty much killed off a lot of marketing for yours truly. Pipped at the post you might say.
I dunno, ask me again in six months.
