Last weekend a friend of mine talked me into going out and listening to a "Country" band.after three or four (well who's counting)beers after a golf game I agreed to meet him at the club this group was playing.I totally expected this would be an a$$ blasting volume evening and was I ever surprised. AS I walked into the club the true sounds of steel guitar and "the bottle let me down" with the exact Hag arrangement floored me. My friend introduced me to the players at the next break and what do you know I was up on the stand doing the next set and they backed me up with "the other Woman ,I just Destroyed the world and a few more Hag and Price songs. It turns out most have worked the road and clubs and just recently got together and invited me to join them. They just want to work 1- 2 times a month. What the heck I even have the places for us to play....Why not.Ode o de o de ladi whoo.

Thanks guys,I spent the past week relearning stuff I did for almost thirty years...It's amazing but "indirectly" Hag,Faron and ole George it seems kept me working all that time. I guess when all the good writing stopped a lot of us found we had nothing more to do.Anyhoo it was nice to see that the people are still out there wanting real Country music..My batteries may need some recharging but my tank is full of memorys. As long as my golf game can continue everything else is a bonus. Smiley that's not copying your logo I couldn't make the nose big enough.

Thanks all I have just got home from a what was suppose to be a practice. It turned out to be a super great time. I brought over a list containing songs I thought I could get into right away. All they needed was the key and ,well I'm hoarse now and feel confident with anything I can throw at these guys. They are learning my own stuff and in two weeks we will get together again. I have to drive to Kissimee 60 miles but it's a blast..I'm flying up to Mass this thursday taking a trip early,it looks like we will be in Daytona beach for two weeks (4days thurs thru sun) in July.Dessert Inn and Hawaiian Inn Private parties.
