Anyone know what an Epiphone 7 Electar 7 string would be worth? I spotted one down here in a pawn shop and may try to buy it.
Thanks,

Karl, what does it look like? The earliest ones are the most desireable. If it's a Model M with 3 knobs, original parts etc. and you can get it for 350 or less that would be a decent deal. I've got an original 1937 6 string and I'm looking for 350 for it. If it's a later one with bar magnet I'd expect it be a bit less desireable.
The Model M is still a sleeper lap steel. I've had a Rick in the past and even had a 30's Single knob Bakeo to A/B it with. The Epi held it's own overall. BUT, the Ricky did it's thing and the Epi couldn't get that fat Bakeo sound. The Rick was alot louder too. BUT, I found a Model M amp too and the combo is very hard to beat, just ask Bob Dunn! |

Thanks Mike. I'll double check but I think it had at least one knob that had some weird type of settings like chime or whatever. I think I can get it for about $300 or so. Have to pay tax down here too so that adds some.
I'm going over to check it outagain tomorrow. I don't know if it had the case either.
