I'm satisfied with that lineup. I love Diamond Rio's stuff especially the B-bender guitar things. As far as Marty Raybon, he was the lead singer for Shenandoah and I hear he's in bluegrass now which actually was where he started. He really sings the dookie out of that stuff. Jody Messina, she's one hot chick with a good set of pipes and has had some great hits. I'm pickin' that night but I'll set the VCR for sure..JH

I like Diamond Rio a lot - the guys can all play! The singing's not bad, either.
The big attraction for me was always Jimmy Olander's great guitar-parts - sadly, this band has leaned toward the power-ballads of late, and Jimmy's amost a bystander these days. I guess they found out that they'll sell more 'One More Day'-type songs than 'The Ballad of Conley and Billy'....
Inevitable, I suppose, but sad!

Is there any question that Daryl Singletary belongs? I still can't believe the Opry did not have a show to honor their past member.Darryl thanks for letting me close my eyes and reliving two great Country voices. Paychecks and Yours.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Diamond Reo invited the Opry's staff Steel Guitarist to play on their songs.
