Double Trouble /Austin City Limits Question

Anyone know who the kinda Matt Damon looking kid in the red shirt was on the Austin City Limits show with Double Trouble? I missed his introduction. He sounds like Ray Charles and has the guitar tone of Albert Collins. Probably not everyone's taste but I sure dug him. I'd be interested in knowing who he is. Anyone out there know?

Yikes! I'd have never recognized him from his looks (though certainly his sound shoulda been a giveaway...). Does he look a whole lot different than he used to or is this just one more sad case of my badly diminished memory???
