A friend asked me to learn this song and I have no idea where to find it ? He thought maybe Ray Pillow had it out several years ago. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanx Bill Myrick

Here's a Wynn Stewart song called "Sing A Sad Song". Merle had a good hit out of it.

Try this... http://roughstock.com/cowpie/cowpie-songs/s/stewart_wynn/sing_a_sad_song.crd

Thanks, Guys----Today I stopped by Wally World in Rogers and lo and behold they had a CD of early Haggard songs and the first one on it was "Sing A Sad Song" . It does have a nice laid back ride on it with good progression. It gives credit to Wynn Stewart for the song.

There was a Red Sovine song out in the '60s called "Sing Me A Sad Song". It wasn't real popular, but it was a nice "story song", replete with a recitation about an old woman who wanted to hear an old love song one just one more time before she dies.
