I agree, Theresa - good record!

Everytime I catch a glance of the 'black and white' segment of the video, he reminds me of Ricky Nelson - from across the room, anyway....

Come to think of it, maybe it's just the suit, the tie, and the black hair....

I love "Big Al" Anderson's guitar parts. I think he cowrote it also.

I heard the song in full for the first time yesterday. Nice work! The backbeat kinda throws me a curve.... I can't quite figure out if it's a straight beat or a swing beat. Keeps me guessing. (But that's not hard to do.)

No offense to anyone, but I think it sounds like a rip-off of Delbert McClinton

I actually think it sounds more like something Mark Knopfler would do.

My daughter and Vince Gill graduated together from Northwest Classen High in Oklahoma City.....Does that give a clue as to my age?
By the way Theresa....does the "Honda" in your e-mail indicate a car or a motorcycle? www.genejones.com

Theresa:
I like that song and I'm sure I would enjoy the CD. But as an added incentive for me to buy it ...is there any steel on it ??? Thanks.
Regards.

Gene,
A car to answer your ?

Gord, I would think JayDee & John would be on some of the tracks. Steel would have made "Next Big Thing" even more amazing to me!
Thanks, Theresa
