GREG BROWN & IRIS DEMENT MARRY
KANSAS CITY, MO - Congratulations are in order for singer/songwriters
Greg Brown and Iris Dement, who exchanged vows and were married in a
small, sweet ceremony in Iris's hometown of Kansas City, MO on Thursday
morning, November 21st. Iris recently contributed a beautiful rendition of
"The Train Carrying Jimmie Rodgers Home" for The Breast Cancer Fund CD,
Going Driftless: An Artist's Tribute to Greg Brown.
Greg has been singing Iris's "When My Morning Comes Around" at his recent
concerts across the country. The couple will spend time at each of their
homes in Kansas City and in southern rural Iowa, where Greg recently built
a house on his grandparents' homestead.

I dig Greg Brown. First heard him on Prairie Home Companion. Recently heard Iris on there too.

Thats one C.D. of Iris I dont have , but I will soon as I can find it
Iris is is like a morning breeze, so fresh so clear , and from the heart . Thats what country muusic is about,
Theres soul and emotion in that voice .
