Hello,

I didn't find much in a forum search for this instrument, so I thought I ask a few questions.

-How is the overall sound of this instrument?
-Is this a better intro instrument than a Regal RD-45?
-How is the overall quality?
-Anything, good or bad, that you can tell me about the instrument?

Thanks,
Nick

Lots of discussion on other Internet venues. I think the general concensus is that it's not a bad value out of the box. Probably similar to a stock Regal RD-45 with the street price of the Gibson being modestly higher. I think an "upgraded" RD-45/Flinthill is about $600.

Many have found the sound to be decent. Some have found it to be lacking, but, we're not talking about a hand crafted guitar. It does come with a Gibson cone, plastic nut and nondescript inserts so it would certainly benefit from the "standard upgrade". The build quality is adequate.
