Your not going to believe this but there is a Radio Station that is playing nothing but good ole traditional Country music.I came up here to Massachusetts last week to see my new Twin grandchildren a (boy and a girl)and decided to see some of New England while I was here. And I heard a familiar voice as I was scanning the dials. That of Franklin J, an old buddy who got me a DJ Job in Springfield years ago. The station was WESO,it's in Southbridge Mass 970 on the Dial and they play nothing but Country Music from 1 to 5 in the afternoon daily. It's only a smidgin but it's one good ole boy hanging on and still delivering.

Grampa Joe.
I'm glad they still have some stations there that are playing the traditional country! I remember when he got you a job at WIXY. You did a fine job, and if I remember correctly, you used to spin my records occasionally!

Slightly off topic...

Bob, when I was regularly traveling to New York a few years ago to see NYNEX, there was a good traditional country show on the Fordham Univ. station. I believe it was on Tuesday nights. The host would do phone interviews with some of the artists.

The only part that didn't seem traditional to me was the host's New England accent.

I thought you were doing that show That's My Momma, where Ted Lange(pre Love Boat) would say, "I got iiiit!, I got iiiiit!". I bet NO ONE knows what i'm talking about.
