I like Ricky's "90% Country." I was going to say that, but he got here first.

Since you want the team approach and there are no stars in the group, how about "The No-Name Band?" (Same idea as the Dolphins' No name defense of the 1970s).

How about, "Just Us." If you say it fast enough it sounds like "Justice."

Are there any trumpets in the band?
No? Well, how about calling it "No Trumpets"?

We've heard "Free Beer" twice now, but you've got to include the punch line.

"Free Beer... TOMORROW."

I really love that one whenever I see it in a bar, because invariably some drunk tries to cash in on it.

This is a funny thread! Did you hear the one about:
What do you ask a female vocalist before you start her tune?

How would you like this? too fast or too slow?

My favorite name would be 'The Gandy Dancers'. They were the guys who worked the railroads, working as a crew hammering in spikes and singing together to keep time.

I saw a PBS special on them once and said that would be a great name for a band with steel guitar.

A great logo could be done with the track crew hammering on the steel strings of a pedal steel. Good luck!

There was a local group composed of Native American Pickers that used to call themselves "the 3 'skins" till they added a steel player.

How about B. F. Goodrich and his Rubber Band.
