Ricky- In Austin, the show should be broadcast on KUT, (U of Texas). I don't know the frequency, or time. Hope you can check it out.

Looks like it's on Jacksonville's Public station (89.9) from 4:00 - 5:30. Any idea what timeframe Cindy's segment will be on?

Jeff- I don't know exactly when it'll air in that time slot. The interview was originally scheduled for the Friday past, however other events preceded it, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that it'll be broadcast tomorrow.
Generally speaking National Public Radio is on the 'left' side of the FM dial (anywhere from 88.1-90.3, etc). If you check the local newspapers, they'll have a listing of radio programming / frequencies for the area. Also the NPR website may have this info.
Hope this helps.
Roger

Great stuff! My only complaint is that it was too short...She didn't get a chance to play all the guitars she brought into the studio!

If you didn't hear it live, you can listen to it here. (Scroll down the page -- it was the eighth story in the show.)

Now that they've featured the Legends CD, I wouldn't be surprised to hear some of the tracks among the music "buttons" in the NPR news shows.

Melissa Block of NPR is a friend of mine, so I'm sending an e-mail thanking her -- and her producer -- for helping make the segment happen.

You might want to talk to Cindy about the origins of the Steel Guitar Rag, though. Winking

Hi Mike- Cindy actually covered this properly in the historical sense during the interview. However, due to editing, it didn't make it into the 'finished'segment.
