an early Gibson lap Steel might have been more appropriate. More so a Dobro !

I've always liked trumpet music, but then I'm not from Tennessee so I guess I don't really understand the issue.

Nothing wrong with trumpet music, Bobby. I had just surmised that their quarter would have a Dobro, a PSG, or at least a steel of some kind. But I hadn't considered a trumpet. Personally, I thought they should have put the Ryman on there, since that building's brought more people to the state of Tennessee than anything else! But, someone may have future "plans" for the Ryman. Also, this is the time of "political correctness", and the Memphis/Elvis supporters would have surely felt slighted. You might almost say the choices for symbols had to be almost "generic". (That could have been Elvis' guitar, and that could be a violin of the Nashville symphony. And that trumpet? Well, that belongs to some famous Tennessee trumpet player...it's just that the only one I could think of was Danny Davis.  )
My topic was a little tongue-in-cheek, and my goal was just to have a little fun. But, in my own little narrow mind, a Dobro (or even a 5-string banjo!) would have been a much more "fitting" choice.
