The original patent for G.D. Beauchamp's Fry Pan was filed June 8, 1932.

Baz...an uneducated guess would be 1933 to 1935. I understand that there are no accurate records that can ID the date of manufacture. I have a 6 stringer identical to that one. And another uneducated guess is the "nut" (which can be reversed for 6 string advantage) is not original. The original was made of brass like the bridge at the pickup location. The "worth" is whatever the market will bear. I have seen them go on eBay for as high as $5127.00.

PS: The patent office issued a patent for the horshoe pickup on August 10, 1938.
