After watching the CMA Awards, I'm sure nothing could "meet" my expectations. So I've been avoiding those GB TV (rimes with hee-bee-gee-bee) specials.

I'm with Joe though. More power to him. I'm just sorry his success seems to have to come at the expense of traditional country music. I'll never understand why. It seems like there are two (or many) audiences worlds apart musically.

That new "Beer Run" tune seems to have some off-key parts in it. Good to see country music eshewing political correctness and glorifying drunk driving again for a change.

You can say what you want about Garth. He's really made a mark in the Country Scene. I wish him well, he's used steel from the beginning. Hat's off to Bruce Bouton also!

A person once told me they couldn't stand country music.I asked her why? She said that Garth Brooks,Tim McGraw and a few others theres no sense naming. My guess is she never has had a chance too hear"COUNTRY MUSIC".IMO

Well...he sang on Asleep at The Wheel's
first Bob Wills Tribute CD. There-in lies his fame for me. Only one Garth vocal in my huge collection of music...
