...we all know that Earl was a lowlife, but even the ancient codes of civilized social discourse only called for retribution in kind, an eye for an eye...wouldn't it have been sufficient to bend him belly down over the rack and drop him into the general population for 15 to 20 years?...

...I'm concerned that this has become my wife's favorite song, and she doesn't even like country music...I was playing Clint Black in the car CD player and my 4 year old daughter insisted that I play "the Mary Ann song"...

...is there a new feminist movement afoot, more sinister and subliminal than the one of 30 years ago, a movement to implant within our young daughters the intent to psychologically (if not literally!) emasculate the next generation of young men?...

...are the Dixie Chicks evil incarnate?...

...did Earl really have to die?...

...(and did you know that you can't use UBB code in the topic heading?)

..Jack, I'm trying to sleep with one eye open, but I'm afraid I'm going to give in...

..Paul, the irony is that she's a good cook, made me a pot roast for dinner...I gave it to the dog and had an Uncle Ben's rice bowl...5 hours later the dog's OK, happy as a clam in fact...the wife swears I can go live with Uncle Ben...is there such a thing as a self-fullfilling prophesy?...

...and Paul, you've got me worried now...until now I thought I was getting a new guitar..she said she was going to give me a new axe for Christmas ..

...I need a break!
