Sounds good! I was listening to the am radio broadcast last Saturday at about 9:30. Got to hear some COUNTRY country by Charlie Walker--"A Way To Free Myself". Always makes me think of Jody Nix from Texas. I also got to hear Kayton do some good pickin' with Billy Walker and even get some named recognition by Mike Snyder who hosted.

So so week.
Good steeler and nice flag decal behind Darryl.
Allison is not the best female vocalest out there but I was glad to see her include Lonesome Bob in her set.

Best of luck on the reumion of McBride and the Ride.

Janice! If Allison is not the best Female Vocalist, then maybe her sister is! I thought she sounded great! & she needed the guy in the bowling shirt, like she needed another hole in her head! & while I'm at it, I've had enough of Mike Snyder, to last another lifetime! I thought the rest of the show was fine, except for the ten minute commercials.

Allison BOMBED the last time she was on the Opry but did ok this time. I agree with Kyle about "Bubba" not being needed. At least she had a steel with her tonight and she didn't do that folk song crap like she did the last time. Darrell Worley was very good tonight. It was an OK night except no Tommy. Mike Snyder is about as funny as a ruptured condom but they had to replace Minnie Pearl with someone!!!

At least Mike is a little better than that replacement for Minnie that everyone was bombarded with there for awhile. The gal with the big black horn rimmed glasses. Can't recall the name because there's no need to but you see her now and again on the religion channels.

Sort of like how we were told KD Lang was the next Patsy Cline but then she got onto cows, cattle and beef and somewhere she got lost in the smoke. Not that I don't like her singing because I think her rendition of Roger Miller's; Lock Stock And Teardrop from the movie The Fly II, was one the best listening chills I have ever gotten from a movie theatre.

Regards, Paul

Mike Snyder's claim to "fame" is his drawl, which seems somewhat to bury his musical talent. Have y'all just really listened to his chops? Man, if he only talked right (if any of you have ever heard me, you're laughing out loud at my saying someone doesn't talk right), he could be a very famous musician--he's got the talent for sure. This guy's smooooooth!!!

My 3 cents' worth (Hey, Ope!)
