Buddy Emmons was with the Everly brothers concert down in Victoria last night - Sunday(part of the latest Canadian tour) and I, along with many others were totaly "wowed" by their performance, buddys playing was up to usual standard but the Bass was kinda loud even on his breaks 
Jamie Hartford on Tele` son of John Hartford was immaculate and played really tastefull licks, the crowd there just loved him.
I, along with my friends were dissapointed on the opening act. The songs that they did were dreary folk-type durges out of order for that kind of night, and were unappropiate for such an event, they should have been paid up after the first song.

I take it that Albert Lee couldnt make it?
Tell me, what songs did they do?. I would like to hear them with Buddy but I dont know which CD to buy. Can you recommend any?. All the ones listed on Amazon seem to be compilations of old songs. |
