Hmmmmmm....stumps me alright, although it's similar to a Bill Anderson song called "I've Enjoyed As Much Of This As I Can Stand". (Early '60s, I think.)

I checked "COWPIE" at http://www.roughstock.com/cowpie/ but they don't have it. You might check yourself though, in case it turns out it's a different artist or title.

Bill,
I have that Mel Tillis album at home. I'm at work now, but I'll check it out soon as I get back home. I think the album is called "After All This Time", but I'm not sure. I think you've got the title right.

Hi again Bill, I just got home and found the album in my collection. It's Mel Tillis, the title of the album is "After All This Time",
MCA 5378, released 1983. The lyrics:

1)Making love to you is like making music
You're just like a song I can't forget
I'm like a child who just discovered candy
I'll take as much of you as I can get

2)Touching you makes me feel good all over
And I love it when you whisper "don't
ever quit"
Till you came my way my life just had no
meaning
So I'll take as much of you as I can get

Chorus:
Every thing you do, you do better
Than anyone I've ever been with yet
If this ain't love, it's as close as I've
come to it
I'll take as much of you as I can get

Tag: I'll take as much of you as I can get

Hope this helps.

Sorry, Bill, but I could only come up with are the Italian lyrics. Anyway, if you work on your accent you can probably do a passable job of it, don't you think?

Hope this helps, man. Good luck.
