I will be in Memphis the end of June and want to find a used steel guitar. Can anyone give me some names of shops to try?

I dont much about the music shops in Memphis, but you can go by Hank & Rod's vintage guitars. They should be able to steer you in the right direction. If there is such a thing. Hank & Rod's is right off Beale St. either First or Second St. I believe. Good Luck

Rod & Hanks has closed in memphis. Thier are no
steels in memphis except a carter starter at Bob Fishers Music town on Summer Ave.
The best place to go is Nashville and see Bobbe
Seymour at Steel Guitar Nashville
It is about 200 miles east of memphis.
on the way to you can go to Jackson TN
about 50 miles east of Memphis and see Chuck
at BANDSTAND a small music shop but Chuck is a
steel player and he has 3 or 4 steels in the store.
