| Ray Corbin recorded an ode to Hurricane Shirley about 30 years ago. I have often wondered if it could be taken literally. From the tone of the posts i have seen on this forum in the last year or two, apparently it is all true and then some. Wonder if Corbin was singing from personal experience? |

Who was it that did Ray Corbin in? Ex-wife,or Shirley,or who?? And how?? I've heard several stories on this.The one that sticks in my mind was,he was performing on the bandstand,& some gal just came in,pulled out a gun,& shot him. Any truth to this,anyone?
BTW,it was Ray Corbin who,I believe,wrote & recorded,"Come On In And Sing The Blues To Daddy".
