Hello Bo, It's from the Gene Watson album "A Way to Survive", an absolute must album featuring some great steel work by Emmons and Weldon Myrick. Neil

Bill Kirchen, legendary diesel Tele player for Commander Cody, has a CD out by that name. The tune is a swinging diddy with great pickin' and lyrics. Bill has a website where you can order his CDs.

Speaking of sayings like "All hat, no cattle", I have often wondered if there is a collection of these kinds of sayings in a book or somewhere on the net.

When I was in college in Austin I once worked for a painting contractor by the name of E. P. Wilson; I believe he was the father of Eddie Wilson, of Armadillo World Headquarters fame. Anyway, he was full of that kind of stuff. One day he looked up at a cloudy sky and said, "It's gonna rain like a cow ****in' on a flat rock."

Would love to have a collection of these kinds of "colloquialisms."

Sleep John, I stand corrected. Bill Kirchen's version of the tune is on his Raisin' A Ruckus CD. I highly recommend it.

I have the Gene Watson CD mentioned. Great tune!

I'm going to have to start paying more attention to lead guitar credits. This Gregg Galbraith guy apparently picks a mean country lead. (Good work, again, Gregg)

Hey Bo,

there's a track called "Big hat, no cattle" on the latest Randy Newman CD called "Bad love".
Maybe you are referring to that tune?

Greg Galbraith is one of the best in the world. They don't come any better.

God bless him and all of you,
