I just heard the song today. I'm not sure that it's even been released yet. However "Murder on Music Row" refers to what has happened to traditional country music and parallell's what those of us that are traditional country music fans have been saying about Nashville. The cut I heard is (or will be) on King Records. Obviously a "major label" would not put something like that out.

I heard Larry Cordle perform it on the Opry last month. I thought it was great.
Rumor has it that Alan Jackson & George Strait got together to cut the song a week or two ago.
