It has been a tough year for me and I must sell several instruments including this one.

I do not know what a fair market value is for this guitar so I will probably list it on eBay with a reserve. But I wanted to list it here first.

Details & pictures of this guitar can be seen at:
http://www.pixenbar.com/U14-Sierra/My-Setup.asp

* 8p 5k
* 24" scale
* 3way p/u
* E-Eb lock on LKR
* All-Pull changer - triple raise & double lower

The gutar is in great shape except for some damage to the Mica when the case was damaged by FedEx a few years ago. Picture of the damage to the Mica can be seen at:
http://pixenbar.com/For-Sale/

It currently does not have a sturdy case. But I will reenforce the case for shipping.

$1100 plus shipping & insurance to Forum Members

Man, thats a nice guitar.
I wish I hadn't spent so much for Christmas already or I would try to work out a deal on this one for sure. .

I purchased this guitar from John Flewellen (through Ron Castle) in late 2002. It's in the archives at:
---> http://steelguitarforum.com/Archives/Archive-000004/HTML/20040616-3-015076.html

I purchased another U14 this past February from David Phillips out in California; and I am keeping that guitar so this one is redundant.

I looked at the pictures for this guitar and it is beautiful. If someone is looking for a candidate for a Chuck Campbell Sacred Steel guitar, this is it. If I were not building my own sacred steel guitar I would buy this one. The price is more than reasonable.

The damage by FedEx is minimal. The damage is limited to some chips in the Mica along one edge of the fretboard near the pickup.

I do not yet have a picture of the mica damage nor do I have a digital camera. I will be borrowing a digital camera in a few day and I will post pictures of the chips.

The damage to the Mica is localized and the picture will convey more than my words can.

If anyone wants to see pictures of anything specific or can suggest to me what pictures would be desirable please let me know.

Regards

This is a really nice axe. John Flewellen purchased this guitar
from Bobby Seymour who had gone over every inch of it prior
to John buying it. I had it for a month or so after John became
too ill to play it and I loved it but I already had a 14str.
for 1100$ this is a a real steal!!
