If any prospective buyers want to hear a sample of the "Super Pro-type" Pro 1, click on: www.myspace.com/chrisledrew and listen to the solo of the song "Stones Throw Apart", about half way through the tune. On this song, I used a Pro 1 exactly like described above - triple-raise, straight knees, etc. It may give you a general idea of the nature of that particular model. I really liked mine a lot, and enjoyed recording with it. |

Chris-Beautiful sound.
If anyone want to hear and ee another sho-Bud Pro1. Lookd under "Steel Players" for Drew Howard's post of "The Al Marcus Video".
The playing isn't so good, but the Sho-Bud Pro1 looks good and sounds good. Those are nice old guitars....al

Al, that is a huge compliment coming from you.........and the video of you playing your Pro 1 just blows my playing out of the water. Hopefully some day I can catch up.
The intro to another song on my page, "Stronger Man" is the Pro 1 in a more Rock context, showing that this type of Pro 1 is really conducive to Rock as well as country.
I hope this is not a highjack.......just thought it would be a good audio example to possibly speed up the sale. These are great, versatile little guitars. |

Chris,
Stone's Throw... Nice! I love the way you had that tune arranged. All tasteful lead guitar and then BANG! the steel comes in outa the blue..totally surprising, in the break.
This is part of what I love about the steel, when it surprises you like that..sort of like a sigh of relief.
You think Of course! THAT'S what I was waiting for!
Yes, the Pro1 sound was unmistakable.

Thanks, Bent.........I loved that little Superpro S-10......it had great tone. A few guys told me it sounded a bit like a ZB on the recordings. Less and less people are letting their Pro 1's go......there hasn't been one like Harley's for sale here in a long while.
I think everyone should have a Pro 1. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

Put a picture in here and it'll probably be gone in an hour. These old Pro 1 models don't last very long. Like it or nor not... Pictures sell. _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.
