Well....As bad as I hate to, I'm going to have to give up my Rains and go to a lightweight guitar. I've got a bulging disc in my lower back, and now I've developed an abdominal hernia, from handling heavy equipment for too many years.

The Rains is a D-10 with 8 pedals and 5 knee levers. I believe the color is called black Parisian maple. It is just barely over a year old. I picked it up in August of 2005. It is equipped with George-L 10-1 pickups and sounds magnificent.

I need to get $2650 for it, and I'll pay shipping in the lower 48. I might consider taking a lightweight S-10 or U-12 in on trade. I can email pictures to interested parties.

This is an ad for Bob Tuttle's RAINS guitar. Discussion about the merits and availability of other brands are not appropriate here. I've deleted some replies.

Thanks b0b. My computer crashed a couple of days ago, but I'm back online now. I lost all of the emails I had received about the Rains, so I'm back to square one. I do have a firm offer to buy the guitar and a couple of good trade offers. I'll let you know what happens.
Thanks to all who inquired.

Looks like the Rains is sold, pending receipt of payment. Thanks to everyone who responded to the ad. Sorry about the mixup during the computer crash.

Well........I thought I had it sold, but the buyer had some unexpected financial setbacks. As I mentioned earlier, I lost all the email inquiries when my computer went south. Anyone who is still interested in this Rains guitar, please contact me again.

Thanks.
