I recently traded for this Clark D-10 8&7 and have come to the conclusion that it is way to heavy for me. I am thinking of switching back to a S-10. The steel needs a tune up. The C pedal is stiff, and some of the pedals on the c6th neck need to be adjusted. The guitar is a single raise single lower.I dont have the guitar in front of me but can get the copedant later if anyone is interested. If you have any steel to trade or want to make an offer let me know. I am asking $1250 plus shipping.

Bart, I make split cases with wheels for that guitar. It makes transporting a breeze as it takes twenty pounds off the weight and adds wheels to the body case. I couldn't imagine carrying the total package around without wheels. Thats a great sounding guitar.

For those of you that don't know, Clark Custom Guitars were built by Jim Clark of Owasso, Oklahoma. They were built one at a time and the craftsmanship was excellent for the times. Yes they are a bit heavy but to me extra pounds means extra tone. As far as any adjustments this guitar may need, Albert Johnson (Forum Memeber) in Tallahassee worked on my Clark Custom D10 and it plays great. I'm sure he would be happy to work on this one. Believe me, If I had the money this guitar would have been in my possesion a month ago. BUMP FOR BART!
