I'm moving a couple of steels for a friend.
Fender student model. 3 pedals and 1 knee that lowers 4 and 8. The C pedal raises 1 and 7 a half step. Pedals A and B are Emmons setup. Light aluminum legs. Very nice case. Super light guitar. Limited changer options. Good shape. Definitely a student model.
$475 shipped domestic US.

The highest offer so far for the old 'Bud is $525. This guitar needs some serious TLC to get going right. It's not currently a player. It does need work, namely legs and probably tuning keys, and I don't know what else. I figured either someone will get it up and running or part it out as I know these parts are valuable to collectors. The undercarriage does seem quite intact. I don't know the workings of these guitars and I didn't mess with it. But it all seems to be working or nearly working under there.
Thanks,
Brad

Brad, why are you calling the Fender, a Sho-Bud Maverick. I thought a Fender was a Fender. I have one just like yours. Would like to sell it also, but I am curious as to why you call it a Sho-Bud.

Roger, it's my understanding that in '76 when Fender bought Gretsch and Gretsch owned the Sho-Bud name, or something like that, Fender put their name and a part or two onto a normal Sho-Bud Maverick student model guitar. The hardware sure looks like Sho-Bud. I may be wrong, but that's my understanding, that it's pretty much a Sho-Bud student model guitar. I think they may have also done that with a few pro models as well. Anyone know the story???

Jack, It's very simple. I don't know, but I guess it's best described as a pull or release type. A simple and limited changer.
