After a lot of thought about how to resolve my money issues this summer, I must sell my brand new Desert Rose S10 3x4. I bought this guitar last June with the hopes of getting into pedal steel, but between school and work I have had no time to get into it. Chuck Back built this steel custom for me. These guitars did not come with adjustable legs, or a case, and they come standard with 3x3. I added adjustable legs that will give up to a 3” rise as you pull them out (I am 6’6”). I also added the fourth knee, so that I could start with an Emmons setup. Lastly, but certainly not least I ordered my guitar with one of Jerry Wallace’s TrueTone pickups. I had heard so much about their incredible tone that I requested a switch out from the GeorgeL.

Chuck no longer makes the mica models, because his wood models are keeping him more than busy. His price for the mica 3x3 was $775. My fourth knee lever was $75, and the hardshell case was $50. That makes this guitar $900 without the TrueTone pickup upgrade or the custom adjustable legs.

As you can see from the pictures this guitar is MINT. It has only a couple hours of playing time, and is exactly as I received it (which is showroom condition).

Because of its mint condition, custom options, and the fact that Desert Rose is not currently making the mica model, I want to get $875 for the guitar with hardshell case, plus shipping and handling.

If you have any questions you may email me at j.weaver@yahoo.com or call me at (913) 791-3452.
