I have a very nice Sho-Bud Pro III for sale in excellent condition. It has 8 and 4 with metal necks of course. The color looks like a dark gray stain on the birdseye maple. It could have been a different shade when it was new as they sometimes fade over the years, but it really looks good now. This is the version that has a double raise/double lower changer with teardrop levers. Also the bell cranks are the earlier type that have the brass swivels. It also has the raised fretboards. It also has an excellent brand new case which is very heavy duty covered in gray ozite. If you are interested, please let me know as this one will probably not last long at $1995.00.

P.S. I am unable to send pictures now as my camera is not working right now.

I can't believe this guitar hasn't sold yet . A Sho~Bud for this price should sell for hundreds of dollars more . If i didn't have two this would have a home . Gary .

I'd love to see pics of this "Bud". My favorite of the Sho~Bud is the Pro III.

Herby,
I am wondering if the end plates have been helicoiled, and if the color could have been originally blue? Duane Marrs built and signed a 1975 or 1976 model for Chesbro Music in Idaho Falls Idaho that I bought and fell in love with. The wood looks just like that guitar, with birds eye maple front and curly maple top. Hope you are feeling better. Bill Bailey
