I've got a decent black Pro III 8x5, and I want a P/P. This guitar sounds great (especially the C6 neck) and plays really well. It's been played a bunch, but is in sound mechanical shape as far as I can tell (I play it out a few times a week), finish isn't too bad, but it isn't perfect. So maybe this is a long shot, but I'd like to get a really nice SD-10 or depending on the offer a D-10 p/p. I'd obviously throw in cash on D10. If this is of any interest to anybody, please make me an offer. I can't sell this outright because, it's my only steel, and I can't be without it long enough to shop around. I can provide more detail and/or pics if there is any interest.

I'd also be interested in a S12 (ext E9) or D12

Gabriel, I've seen a lot of trades attempted here and they seem to seldom work. The problem is getting the perfect match of two traders. You want his/he wants yours. Selling and then buying may be a better solution.

Jim,

You're probably right, but that would leave me steel-less until I found a replacement. That isn't going to work, especially in the busier summer months. I know it's a long shot, but I figured I give it a try and see what happens. I leave this offer up for a while and if nothing happens I'll close it up, and try to find a back up I can use while I sell it.

I've had some luck trading here. It just takes some time, that's all. I always wanted to trade as opposed to sell for the same reason of being steel-less. I wouldn't be surprised if there's someone around here wanting to return to an all-pull...you never know.

David,

Thanks. I sent Daniel an email about that today. I'm not sure this is what he's looking for right now, but I'm on the list.

Tim,

I'm at Smokedaddy on Fridays 7-9pm (tonight) and the Pontiac Cafe on Sundays 8:30-9:00 & 10:00-12:00ish on Sunday nights. Those are my steady gigs right now. I'll be at the California Clipper on 5/10. I'm not sure what else is coming up within the city limits... How about you?

Believe it or not, it looks like I found a great trade. What's the protocol for donations on a trade? I figure I estimate the value and send the amount based on that, sound about right?
