Mike once gave me some advice after a show in Florida. Although he didn't know me from Adam, he took the time to talk to me about playing and blocking. I've never forgotten the advice that he gave me. This is a nice guitar, and the road case is a welcome addition for a gigging steel player. |

Any rust on it Mike? You know, from all those women screamin' and throwin' things at the stage? I hate rusty things. I'll bet it's a nice guitar. |

No, no rust that I know of--always kept her clean. By the way--I believe the guitar is actually just called Emmons LeGrande. I dont believe they used the word "Lashley" in the model name until later. |

You are right mike.
The Legrande came out in 84.
It said Emmons on the left, and on the
right it said Legrande.I received #084.
Wish I hadn't sold it.

Ok Bill --thanks--I had forgotten that, since you hear it phrased "Lashley LeGrande" so often. It is just plain LeGrande.
I hadnt had it out of the case in a long while, except to take the pictures and play it occasionally to keep her tuned up--but you know how it is--you rarely see the front, at least if you are sitting at it from the right direction! |

Wade,
The Emmons LeGrande I have for sale is an all-pull guitar. I dont believe any of the newer Emmons were push pulls, that I know of. |

What Mike has ,if it was made in 84 is an all pull Short Keyhead Legrande. One of the best sounding of all the Legrande Guitars Emmons built.

Thanks you Daniel. yes --that sounds right. I'm not sure when the last push pulls were made. And yes-it is also a great sounding guitar. I never ever had any sound/tone issues with it. |
