Early '80s Superpro mechanism, 3+4, triple-raise, double-lower. Original finish. Great condition, gig-ready. Sounds like a Sho-Bud should. This guitar came out of Bobbe Seymour's shop last September, where it was listed for $1,999. It's in exactly the same shape now as it was then. A few surface dings but nothing through the finish into the wood. Undercarriage clean. Brand new set of nylon tuners. Three rods slightly bent at changer where the nylon tuners screw in (see pic); does not affect the tuning in any way. Original case in fine shape as well, with a few minor dings. If you want the Sho-Bud tone and vintage vibe without the hernia, this is your guitar. $1,599 firm, plus shipping. Will ship to Canada and the USA. Paypal and Visa accepted.
Copedent (easily changed):
Emmons ABC
LKL raises the E's
LKR raises 1 & 7 full tone, 2 half-tone
RKL lowers the E's
RKR lowers 2 half/full tone, 9 half-tone (half-stop installed) I lower the 6th a half-tone on this lever as well, but can easily take that off.

Yes, Chris, 30 pounds out of the case isn't too bad......and with no compromise in tone or stablity, you can't go wrong. |

Hey Charlie,
Nice Rains, sir. I bet it sounds like a million bucks as well.
To answer your question about what I'll be playing, I've got my eye on something.........when it becomes concrete, you know I'll be bragging about it......
By all means, get in touch when you are coming. You'll have to sit in with the band. By the looks of the interest in the Pro 1, I'll probably still be playing it when you come down....ha-ha! Looking forward to it.......cheers.

I've decided to wait until the end of the summer to sell this fine Sho~Bud. It's getting too close to peak playing season to switch guitars anyway. I'm going to do the summer with the 'Bud and say good-bye to it in August. If anybody is interested in buying the guitar then, they're more than welcome to get in touch anytime to make a claim on it.
You can close this one up. |

Okay, Charlie.....I fess up. I traded for a '98 black Carter D-10 8+5, with retrofitted BCT. It's arriving early next week from Las Vegas, where my Pro 1 will be making its new home. (Thom, can I mention your name?) The 'Bud is flying the friendly skies as I type.
I'm going to get fellow forumite Bob Blair to break it in for me when he jams with the band next weekend on his trip to Newfoundland. We both drop our E's on the RKL so we're laughing.
Looking forward to meeting you when you come down. |
