I need a little help please. There is a Triple on ebay, item 2530942208, that claims to be a Fender. I think that i remember seeing chrome covers on a Fender pickup before, but never unstamped string trays, and I thought that pickup/bridge plates, were all one piece, unlike the one on Ebay.
On the other hand, I don't ever remember seeing a triple Guyatone. Can anyone help? Thanx. |

I have the exact guitar myself, it does look authentic to me also. This e-bay guitar looks even better than mine. The finish on mine is original but poor. The finish on this one, if original, is great , if not, the value should be a little lower. It's case looks great also.
Originality is going to be more important to the values of these guitars as the years pile up. Look at the Telecaster values! Originality is everything. |

| I'd like to all of you guys for your help. Having this forum is a fortunate thing for a lot of us, and it sure is nice to be a part of it. The bad thing is that, now all of you know about the great guitar on ebay, and may get idea of buying yourselves, even though you weren't looking, but that's the cost of information! Thanks again! |

Bobbe called it as usual.It is an early model
see the neck slide switch selectors.
___should be a little lower. It's case looks great also.

| Actually, the vintage Jody is in great shape considering his age. His 'G' string shows a bit of rust and his legs are a bit bowed, but otherwise I'd say if he ever gets listed on e-bay, he will be a real collector's item ! |
