I have a red Sho-bud pro 1 3pedals 4 knees. The left side is add-ons,otherside original teardrops.Needs new hex tuners at the ends of the rods, may also need new grovers.I just put a brand new John Coop white Sho-bud fretboard, and ordered a new Jerry Wallace true tone pick-up that is also white on top.The original pick-up is still in the guitar right now.All this guitar needs is a little tlc and this will be a sharp looking Sho-Bud.Postal money orders will do as i don't use a bank.Donation to the steelguitar forum to follow.

A guy came into the chat room a while back and said he had a steel for sale at a very low price, I think it was a bud. When we started asking him about it he disappeared, this may be the same guy. It may be his idea of a joke, but aren't jokes usually funny?

I think some of you are getting the wrong impression. Marty is a nice young man and he has frequently played at our South East Texas Steel Guitar Club. He was taught by Jody Sanders, known to many of you. Marty clearly put the 1 in front of the $ sign. The price is not $600.00, which you can see by transposing the two. Now why he hasn't responded, I don't know, but I'm sure Marty is not out to cheat anyone.

Nice try Jim. Transpose the two? What two? I see no two or 2.
The ad clearly displays $600.00, $600 or 600 dollars.[This message was edited by Tommy White on 19 March 2006 at 08:30 AM.] |

My apologies too. I thought Marty had flipped the 1 and the dollar sign. I didn't notice within his post he again mentioned Pro 1. |
