That M.S.A. is one beautiful red guitar..
Seen Tommy White playing one of them on the
'OPRY' recently, and it really sounded good..Who-ever gets this one is gonna get a keeper. |

LKR, lowers 4&8
RKL, raises 1,2, and lowers 6
RKR, lowers 2 & 9
C6th.

LKV, lowers 2&6
LKR, raises 2&6
RKL, lowers 3
RKR, raise 3 |

1)Which are the M-2 changer capabilities?(I mean how many raises & how many lowers)
2)How easy (or uneasy) is it to modify the current copedant?
3)"D" on top?
4)Ped.8 DtoD#?
Thank you again.[This message was edited by John Sluszny on 02 March 2006 at 10:51 AM.] |

Hi John. The new M-3 changer has four raise and four lowers. The M-2 has tripple raise and tripple lower changer. The M-2's bellcranks require an allen wrench to remove or readjust puller slots, but the new M-3 has an "L" shaped end on the stainless steel pull rod and require no allen wrench or tool to adjust. In short, the M-2 is somewhat more difficult to change, but has the expensive titainium (spelling) pull rods. This guitar has a "G" on top and pedal 8 lowers string 10 from C to A. Hope that helps. |

I should mention that I was the origional owner of this guitar and sold it last summer after the arrival of my new 2005 model Millennium. My wife had advised me to keep the red one because she thought I sounded best playing it on stage. I now agree with her. Whoever gets this guitar will be getting a very special guitar. |
