I purchased this guitar in about April 2005. I have taken it to church 2 times other than that it has never left home. I am just staying with my lapsteel the console with 2 necks more than I need. This guitar has a natural finsh that is truly beautiful. It is in pristine condition no dings no blemishes. The case of course is new also. I am asking 1400 dollars and I will pay for shipping in the the lower 48. Jack

Steelmasters are great guitars, no question about it. They are custom made and usually have a waiting period of several months - so this is a good opportunity since there's no waiting.
Herb makes about 12 per year, and there are about 140 in existence so far.
I have 2 of them - a 24 1/2" black D8 I got on eBay, and a 22 1/2" corn silk T8 Herb made for me a while back.
Steelmasters are very accurate, and they have a beautiful sound with great sustain and big chiming harmonics.

That's a fair price too . .

Thx for the info Rick. U are right the Remintons are outstanding instruments. I bought this one directly from Herb. It of course was brand new. I am very satisfied with the instrument just more than I need at this time in my life. Jack

Jack, thanks for the kind words.
Bill is a great guy to deal with - I'm glad he's the lucky one.
He sold me the Fender 5 String bass that I used on this recording. I love it . .
