Just testing the market, as I'm looking at a U-14.
It's a great guitar--ebony 'mica, in good shape. Any responses and I'll post pics.
You can hear it here: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum15/HTML/010619.html
Well set-up by me, pulls timed and all.
Includes tuning tool, Jeff Newman's 'Pedal Steel Guitar Techniques Part 1 & 2' DVD with tracks CD, 'Quick Start' tape, and Joe Wright's 'Pick Blocking' videotape. A good starter outfit.
$625 + shipping, including hard case in perfect condition.

The Carter-Starter is a superior beginner's guitar, and good enough to use in a band. Its hard to believe Carter wants to make them this good...who needs the pro-models? Seriously, its one fine guitar whether you're a beginner or not.

Leila, I'd have to agree, even if I don't have experience with other guitars (except the worst ones).

I'm going to have this closed for now, as I believe I have an interested buyer.
