I have a killer guitar setup for trade:
As new... Eric Johnson Strat in 2 tone burst with OHSC/case candy. retail $2300
Fender Vibrolux Custom in new Flight Case.
amp retail $1500
Flight Case $400
Total retail value is $4200
This is all top of the line gear in mint condition.
I want a comparable (retail to retail) value D10 steel.
Edit... Since I've gotten a couple of emails, let me clarify:
The market value of this gear is ~ $2500 if I sold it on ebay. If you have a D10 that has a market value near or over this, I am interested. If your steel is worth considerably more, we can dicker for a little cash. Recent events totally beyond my control leave me with a wealth of regular guitars but not a ton of cash.
I need a good clean Emmons, Zum, Mullen, Carter, Williams, Fessie or Rains. I'm not interested in keyless models. If I don't get any trades, I will move this stuff to ebay, where I'm certain it will sell.

Well... thought I had a trade on a D10 last night but the person decided they didn't need the amp. This is a good deal for someone who wants to upgrade their regular guitar outfit. The Eric Johnson Strat is the best production Strat Fender has ever made and is their current hottest product. This color is in back order at most places. Also, someone asked me if this is a "rock guitar" or did it have some country twang too. This is an old school type Strat with a nitro finish and custom pickups. It will do anything you want.
Hoping for someone in the Tejas area to do a trade.

On the good doctor's behalf, the Eric Johnson Strat is a MONSTER! Basically, a copy of Eric's '54 Strat (or '56), it's what would be a stock guitar, with the middle pup's tone control wired to the bridge pickup, to tame the treble a little, and the fretboard has a bit of a compound radius. One of the nicest things Fender's building at the moment, IMO. |

Steve Stallings,
Can you send me some MP3's of your band. I'd like to hear you on the Steel.

I am going to sell this stuff. I have arranged to purchase the Rains D10 from Gary Phillips. I need to move this stuff so it most likely will go on ebay in the next day or so.
