GFI Ultra SD-10. Black finish. One small spot on top shows a bit of chrome. I assume this was from placing the bar on the top of the guitar. Other than this, I would consider the guitar in excellent – near mint condition. Standard Emmons setup with 3 pedals, 4 knees. Leg Bag and original HSC.
I recently purchased a Derby and just don’t need both guitars.
$1,500 + shipping from Virginia. Pictures available on request.
Thanks for your interest.
Joe

GFI's are very solidly constructed and stay in tune extremely well. If you are seeking a lighter weight instrument without making concessions, this is definitely for you. Joe is a very nice guy to do business with as well. |

No question these guitars are great. They are tone machines, also they're well built and light weight guitars, the best for an on the move pro player. This is my axe of choice(S-10 U candy blue frame, black mica 3X4) |

Gene Fields has a lot of great ideals when it comes to Steel Guitars as well as a lot of other things. I think he was the one that came up with the changes that where made, when he was with the EMCI steel guitar company, when they started using the welded aluminum end plates and body. Correct me if I'm wrong. So anyway I can see why the GFI would be a Great guitar. I would like to try one ,but have not had the chance. So for $1500. bucks sounds like someone is going to get a lot of guitar for the money. [This message was edited by Steve Dodson on 02 September 2005 at 10:14 AM.] |
