I love the picture of the keyhead and the tuners say "Yamaha"

Also, "I can't be sure of this (cuz it's so old) but somebody else toll me this giutar may have been made by the guy who started up the Fender company -- Freddy Fender himself!!! I won't sware to it, but I'm pretty sure it's true."

HAHA!

And for those of you who don't know, a gig is where you go out and play with a band.

Oh man that was funny.

From the feedback page I clicked on a previous auction for more fun and was led to a "Homepage" or rather a parody of homepages..

This Site has been around for years, and it is indeed funny. My one small reservation, and I don't want to go all pee-cee on you, is that it has apparently been taken over by someone outside the USA.

It's okay in my book to make fun of your own kind, but when it comes from outside the "neighborhood" it's not as funny for me...

For instance, on the local morning news program, there is one comedian-entertainment news guy who does a skit occasionally about his brother "Duane." He puts in these plastic bad teeth, an ugly wig fakes a "southern" accent, and makes really stupid comments mixed in with comments about bluegrass, C&W, etc.

If you did a skit like that about anyone except white guys, you'd be off teevee in a heartbeat, but if you are white, and especially from the country and the south, you are fair game.

Again, not to be the old pooperroo, but I don't think having a southern drawl, or wearing a blue collar makes you a lesser human being. And besides, I tried to bid on that 51 Strat cause it would be a good match for my 1949 Les Paul...

Wow Tom,

Your '49 Les Pawl looks different than mine. I bought it from the same guy that's auctioning the Stratt. He said mine was a little different because it was one of a few very first VINTAGE models made; And he should know because he is going to open a music store.

Yer pal,

ps: That red wire is a special ground wire I rigged up so I could play through the grammyphone without too much buzzing. And the string that's off of the headbridge is my sitar sound string invenchun. You guys can use that invenchun if you want to because I'm not gonna copyright it.
