1972 "Special Paint" Marlen D-10-single finger pull/release-formerly owned by Ricky Davis-unusual yellow color body with black necks "nicknamed the Bumblebee"-8 pedals Emmons setup on E9th standard Nashville setup C6th with "G" on top-4 knee levers-LKL raises the E's to F-LKR raises the F#'s to G-RKL lowers E's to Eb-RKR lowers D# to C#,raises the seventh F# to G#,and lowers the D-C# In addition the right knees also work the C6th neck lowering the third and raising the fourth strings a half tone-The guitar is in overall great shape especially all the metal (endplates, headstocks, legs, etc) There is one worn area of paint in between the necks where there had been a piece of felt glued down (to rest your bar on) that has been removed-Guitar comes with hard case and leg bag-Asking $1200 plus shipping-I prefer to keep sale withing continental USA-Thanks-PW

Yes this is the very Unique Beauty and a Show-Stopping Look.
And Paul did some out-standing work underneath the load up the knees.

Oh and this baby captures the ears as well as the look Man...AwESome!!!!

Thanks Ricky for the kind words and great photos-Yes I did add two knee levers with all original stock Marlen parts-much thanks to Chris Lucker-It was alot of work because all the rods underneath had to be removed, cleaned up,and replaced-It cannot be seen clearly from the pics but this guitar does have the clear plexiglass overlays on the fretboards

A prospective buyer is coming to see the Marlen in person on Monday or Tuesday-I have told him that I would put the sale of this guitar "on hold" to anyone else who is interested until he has checked it out and decided on the guitar-Thanks-PW

Bump-Marlen still available-guitar in case weighs 65 lbs. Guitar without case is 45 lbs. If you require a lightweight guitar-this one is not for you
