I just bought this killer brand new Goldstar GF-100 Hearts& Flowers banjo--great mastertone copy-a friend of mine that has a 70's Goldstar said it is just as great as the old Goldstars and I would be a fool to sell it-however(I'm a foooooool!!)-I am buying a Les Paul and need the bread--plus I have a electric banjo--so my loss is your gain!-it just came out of box with a beautiful green plushlined case- it could use a set up like all banjos do,upgrade the bridge etc-but it sounds loud and rich-E-mail for pics etc-- $1000.00 best price you will find on a new one and these will be going up in price real soon because of the exchange rate!!

Anyone who wants a Saga Goldstar-great banjo-with plush lined case should buy this before I use it as a trade in-if you read the reviews these banjos are the best deal for the money on a higher end model--they are as close as you can get to a Gibson mastertone without paying a way lot more!

You're right about the tone. I have one and have never found the need for another. Tone and playability is great.
